I know
the saying “go where you’re celebrated” sounds cliché-ey. But it rings true.
Life is
hard enough as is. Why spend precious moments gritting through and walking on
eggshells, when you could be happy??
Go
where the love is!
The
ones who love you, who know the different parts of you, yet do not seek to take
away your agency, even when pointing out pitfalls in love.
The
ones who genuinely have their hearts glow with yours at every added feather.
Whom you do not have to explain and/or justify every move or utterance with.
There’s
bound to always be those who will seek to define you and/or keep you in a lowly
box based on just one narrative they may have.
But...
You cannot die on the hill of trying to be accepted for who you are.
Go
where the love is.
You
deserve to be with and around the ones who can never get used to all of the
awesomeness that your are.
Your
magnificence, in all of its glory.
The
unique work of art you embody.
They
may not even consist of people you speak with everyday. But these one(s)...
whenever you do speak or get together, you’re reminded of pure, unadulterated
love.
Go
where the love is.
“But…
everyone around me is against me. People hate on me for no reason”. There has
to be one, two, maybe three people at least who you know love you genuinely.
No?
Then you need to change something.
Maybe
you need to also sow love in others. After all, you cannot get what you don’t
give.
Maybe
you need to be less assuming, less judgy, less of a basket-mouth, so that
genuinely kind and loving people are not just drawn to you, but actually stay
with you.
Or…
maybe not. Maybe you are perfect the way you are. But you have just never
opened your eyes to and tapped into the love within your reach.
If you
do nothing else in 2022 (and beyond), GO WHERE THE LOVE IS.
Revel
in it. Soak it all in. Breathe it back out. And take more in.
The
love? Enjoy it.
Love,
Meg. ❤
